Payments:

A Deposit of 50% is due before ordering and may be paid by check, money order, or cashiers check.  Make checks payable to Carmel Designs.  Credit and debit cards are accepted through PayPal.  This deposit is non-refundable.

International payments (outside of USA) are only accepted through PayPal.

Before a deposit is paid, we do our best to give you a delivery date as accurate as possible.  Please remember that delivery dates quoted are approximate.  A delivery date quote is not valid until a deposit has been paid.  Materials will not be ordered or held without a deposit. 

Final payment is due prior to shipment.  You will receive notification through e-mail or by phone when your order is completed.  If final payment is made by check, merchandise will be held 10 days until payment clears.

There is a $25.00 fee for checks returned NSF.  In the event that your payment returns NSF, all future payments will be required to be in the form of a money order or cashiers check.

Shipping:

Most orders will be shipped by UPS from zip code 68701.  Rates are as follows:

UPS Ground:                $12.00 per package*

UPS 2nd Day:               email with zip code for quote

UPS Overnight:            email with zip code for quote

We recommend adding shipment insurance to your order.  Insurance is available at the following rates

Orders up to $300.00               $1.50

Orders over $300.00                $0.50 per $100 of insurance

For International deliveries we would be happy to work with you on choice of carrier and delivery options.

*Chaps are shipped separately allowing them to be rolled during shipment to prevent creasing.

 

RUSH ORDERS:

If you need your order sooner than the delivery date quoted, we may be able to offer you a rush order. Rush orders will be charged an additional 20% of the total price of the order. This rush fee allows us to compensate for overtime spent to make your garment(s). Please note that a rush will not always be available. Expedited shipping is not included in the rush fee.

 

Returns:

WE REQUEST THAT MEASUREMENTS BE DONE BY A STAFF MEMBER OF CARMEL DESIGNS, A PROFESSIONAL SEAMSTRESS, OR TAILOR TO PREVENT FIT ISSUES WITH YOUR GARMENT.

Custom and Made to Order There are NO returns or exchanges on custom orders unless there are defects in quality or construction that cannot be remedied. 

Ready to Wear items All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.  Carmel Designs must approve the return, and items must be shipped back within 3 days of the delivery date on record.  Items must be returned in original condition.  They cannot be worn, altered or cleaned.

Alterations Alterations are free for 30 days after delivery.  Carmel Designs cannot be responsible for inaccurate measurements given when placing an order.  We recommend that measurements be taken by a professional seamstress or tailor to prevent inaccurate results.  All alterations resulting from inaccurate measurements will be billed accordingly.  Carmel Designs reserves the right to determine whether alterations are needed due to normal circumstances or due to inaccurate measurements.
